Are you someone who believes every young person deserves to feel safe, supported, heard, and valued? As a Direct Care Staff member in our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP), you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in foster care who may be navigating trauma, loss, behavioral challenges, and major transitions in their lives. You’ll be part of a compassionate, dedicated team that provides structure, encouragement, guidance, and positive role modeling—helping youth build confidence, develop healthy life skills, and discover their own potential. This work isn’t always easy, but for the right person, it can be incredibly meaningful: you have the chance to be the safe, consistent adult a young person remembers long after they leave our program.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Be a mentor, coach, and positive role model for youth
✔ Help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment
✔ Support daily routines, activities, meals, and life skills
✔ Help youth work through behaviors using trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
✔ Take youth to school, appointments, and fun community activities
✔ Be part of a team that truly changes lives

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Caring, dependable, and motivated team players
✔ Open availability for afternoons, midnights, and weekends
✔ High School Diploma/GED required, must be at least 21 years of age
✔ Valid driver’s license and good driving record with reliable, insured transportation to transport residents
✔ Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings
✔ Experience with youth, behavioral health, social services, education, or caregiving is a PLUS—but we will train the right people!
✔ No allergies to cats. Girl’s unit has 2 cats.
